The thin, light weight lenses automatically change in power without any lines! Plain readers only correct for your reading distance. Objects that are just inches further away may appear blurred or even distorted. This is because the power that allows you to see an object up close is too strong for viewing intermediate objects like your computer screen. This optical quality frame uses a CR39 aspheric designed scratch resistant lens with no visible lines. If you normally wear a +2.0 strength, your Multi-View lens will have a +2.0 on the bottom of the lens and a +1.35 on the top 1/2: basically a no-line multifocal (occupational) lens.
